At Protos Companies Group LLC, preparations for the autumn-winter season have been completed.
The following works were carried out on our own gas boiler house:
- 2 additional boilers installed and certified;
- passed re-registration;
- commissioning and testing were completed, all thw necessary documents and operating permits were received;
- a passport of readiness for work in the autumn-winter period 2012-2013 was received.
As part of the preparation, a solar water heater was introduced.
Solar energy can be used not only in summer. In case of bad weather during the cold period, the sun's heat is often sufficient to provide hot water.
A special heat exchanger captures the sun's rays and transfers heat further along the tubes filled with non-freezing liquid. Heating system pipelines transport energy further to the heat exchanger in the hot water tank.
The presence of two copper heat exchangers in the storage tank makes it possible to use the system, both as the main and additional heat source for hot water supply.
